We’re dedicated to providing a safe and soft landing space for any horse in need regardless of their breed.

The Bridge Sanctuary survives on the donations from our wonderful supporters. With your support, we can rescue unwanted, neglected, abused and slaughter bound horses, rehabilitate them and find them their forever homes.

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit Texas Corporation that specializes in neglected, abused and unwanted horses. Our goal is to rescue, rehab and re-home.

We focus our rescue efforts on fragile souls, including emaciated or emotionally traumatized horses, pregnant mares, senior horses, and donkeys.

Through community outreach we will always strive to prevent future cruelty toward horses through education on responsible equine stewardship. We believe no horse deserves to be deemed as ‘throw away” and should be repurposed to live out their life humanely and with dignity.

Every resident of our rescue is a member of our family. Visitors are always welcome to come experience the love of a horse and share in what brings everyone of us here so much joy.
